Chris Geisler to speak at the KnuckleBasher Mixer!

MEC Envoy, Chris Geisler, will be visiting Canmore to do a presentation at the Saturday evening Mixer. Chris is best known for developing routes in the cave behind Helmcken Falls. As a biochemist, ice climber, big-wall aid soloist, furniture designer, home renovator, aerial film-stunt rigger, alpine climber, rock climber, dad, and husband, he wears many hats and needs little sleep. We are excited to have him on board!

Tech Talks Announced!

Kick off Knuckle Basher'13 by participating in a free lecture series at the ACC Clubhouse (Bell Cabin) on Friday evening. Local guide Jason Billings will be discussing gear, avalanche safety, and local climbing spots. Snacks will be provided by MEC. Click here for more details!

ACC Offers Discount for Knucklebasher Participants

The Alpine Club of Canada has offered membership pricing to all Knuckle Basher'13 participants for the Canmore Clubhouse, bringing the price of a bed from $36 to $25. To book a room, climbers should call 403-678-3200 ext 0 and mention "Knuckle Basher".
